Hotel Oasi

We had a great time as guests in this oasis, and the relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff's warm hospitality will stay with our family for a long time. The lush garden, beautiful pool area, and stunning views made it special, and breakfast was delicious.

The lady at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful. The hotel and rooms were clean, the rooms a good size, and the geothermal pool was great. It's very well located, and the hotel also owns the amazing Ristorante Di Pina, just a two-minute walk away. You must visit if you stay here. One small downside: bottled water in the room wasn't complimentary. We paid 3 euros for a small bottle from the mini fridge. Otherwise, a perfect two-night stay.

The quiet was our favourite thing, even though the hotel is so close to the centre. The young hostess was extremely helpful, spoke perfect English, and was always happy to answer our questions. She even gave us a free shuttle to the port when we left. They didn't pick us up when we arrived, though that may have been our fault for not telling them in time; we didn't know. The walk is uphill, so don't walk with your luggage, ask for a lift. The lobby was beautiful. Our room was basic but clean, with a nice patio, lots of clean towels, a safe, a mini mini fridge, and a door and shutter that locked securely. The artificial light was almost disturbing, and the indoor shower was tiny. The outdoor shower looks amazing, with a cave-like feel, but one shower head didn't work and the other spat water. The pool looked a bit murky, so we had to call and ask if it was clean.

We were only there briefly, and it was very much off season. The room was great, the staff super friendly, and the heated thermal pool was a highlight as the sun went down. Great value in the off season too. The only issue was traffic noise from nearby building work, which surprised us on an island without traffic. The hotel apologized a lot, though it wasn't their fault.
