We stayed four nights in one of the guest houses and enjoyed the whole visit. There’s plenty of room around the property, with tables and chairs where you can find a private place to sit or eat. The pool was spotless, and our room was tidy and had what we needed, including air conditioning, a coffee machine, a fridge and cutlery. Leonärdo and his mother can cook dinner at the guest house, and we really recommend trying it. Their food was delicious. Leonärdo welcomed us warmly and did his best to make sure we felt comfortable and had nothing to worry about. He knows the province well, and his suggestions for city trips, cultural activities and restaurants suited us perfectly. You can tell the family takes real pleasure in looking after guests. We’d gladly come back to the Panicale area.

We were sorry to leave such a wonderful place. The guest house is gorgeous, and Leonardo and his family made us feel so welcome and helped us throughout our stay. Breakfast was delicious each morning. Dinner is an optional extra, but it's worth having: proper, authentic Italian family cooking.

Signora Marisa's cooking is sure to make you smile, so try booking dinner at least once while you're there. The whole staff, especially Leonardo, makes you feel at home. It's the kind of Italian hospitality you hope to find in Umbria.

Our apartment was at the back, with no neighbours, and the kitchen was right next to us. It felt homey despite its modern style, and was clean and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable, the living space cosy, and Leonardo had already turned on the air conditioning when we arrived. Breakfast was generous and very good. It felt like being pampered, with a chance to start the day simply relaxing. We also had the option of a three-course dinner with wine and water for a surprisingly low price, which I'd suggest trying. Coming up the driveway gave us an immediate sense of peace and quiet. Leonardo and his mother are the heart of the place: warm, friendly, good listeners, and keen to make guests feel at home. They certainly managed that for us. Thank you.
