Dammusi Ambra

We spent two weeks at Dammusi Ambra in August 2024, staying in both the "Aragon" and "Ossidiana" dammusi. They were both very well maintained. The "Aragon" had its own outdoor area and BBQ, a peaceful, private spot for relaxing and eating outside. The shared pool was quiet and always clean, great for unwinding after exploring the island. The property is well placed for visiting Pantelleria and is close to Scauri. Mrs. Pia, Mr. Marco, and Ambra were kind and helpful, always ready with a smile when we needed something. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Dammusi Ambra for a relaxing holiday in an authentic, welcoming setting.

The Cartagine dammuso was comfortable for a great holiday and felt private. It was beautifully renovated, with a comfortable bed, a handy shower with plenty of water, and a very useful outdoor kitchen. The pool was a welcome extra. Pia greeted us kindly and discreetly, and was always around to help with our requests. We’d recommend a stay here and would happily return if we get the chance.

At the end of June we stayed in the Cartagine dammuso, a lovely new place that felt like a peaceful little oasis. The veranda kitchen area and stove were especially cute. The pool area was very well kept, with loungers and really comfortable sofas, and you could enjoy a beautiful view from there. You might even see the sea from the dammuso if the trees were pruned, though that’s just personal preference. Maria Pia was friendly, always available with advice or help, and made us feel right at home. We’d recommend it!

The Mediterranean view was wonderful, and Dammusi Ambra itself is spotless, elegant, and carefully put together. Mrs. Pia made us feel especially welcome, too. We’ve just come home and already hope to return to this little corner of paradise.
