Dammuso "La Catalana"

The terrace was exceptional, with a wonderful view, complete privacy, and stunning sunsets and sunrises. The dammuso was beautiful, well equipped, and had a lovely bathroom. The terrace and its priceless view are the most spectacular parts of this beautiful dammuso. Inside, everything is well maintained and still keeps that typical dammuso feel. It's a peaceful spot, only ten minutes from town. Salvatore was available and ready to help with any needs. I hope to return soon!

Every detail at Dammuso La Catalana seems to balance beauty and simplicity, from Salvatore's one-of-a-kind artwork to the peaceful setting. The interior has fantastic paintings, vases, lamps, and handmade figurines. La Catalana is comfortable and thoughtfully equipped, with two double bedrooms, a modern bathroom, a hallway with a washing machine, and a spacious, welcoming kitchen that opens onto a covered terrace with a table and chairs. We enjoyed the thought of sipping Passito there at sunset. There are wooden loungers too, if you'd rather stay in than head to the coves. Set among the rugged volcanic rocks of Pantelleria, this quiet retreat sits on a promontory a few kilometers from the center of Pantelleria, above the Punta Spadillo lighthouse. The views are breathtaking, and the large terrace looks out over the sea at any time of day. Fragrant, colorful plants surround the house, including capers, figs, cacti, and rosemary. Salvatore pays close attention to guests' needs. It's a magical place, and the experience will stay with us forever. We'll definitely return. The terrace is so comfortable and has everything you need, making it hard to leave. An outdoor shower was very useful too. There was a lovely calm to watching the sun rise over the sea or set in complete silence. The interior stayed cool, and we only used the bedroom air conditioning for one short night. The furnishings are simple and tasteful. The bathroom is new, attractive, and functional. The kitchen isn't brand new, but it's clean and has everything needed. Thanks to Salvatore and Mrs. Teresa for being so kind and available!
