The owners were so kind and lovely that the place felt like home. It has a family atmosphere and a simple way of doing things, and they were available whenever we needed anything. They even picked us up at the airport. We’ll be back soon. Thanks!

We went in August 2008, my girlfriend, two friends from Milan, and me. The restaurant is tucked away in Tracino, in the inland part of Pantelleria, but the atmosphere is pleasant and romantic. Some tables are indoors and some are outside in a courtyard surrounded by dammusi. The menu centers on fish, cooked simply and deliciously, and also includes traditional Pantelleria dishes. There’s a good wine list, and the owner, who’s from Parma, is friendly. Recommended.

The lady was very helpful and friendly, and the place itself is enchanting. The dammuso was spotless and stayed cool enough that we never needed the air conditioning. It’s also a strategic base for visiting the island. I highly recommend it!
