Residence Perla Rosa

The apartment was in a good spot, the area was quiet, and the managers checked in several times on WhatsApp during the fire to ask if we needed anything. When the mistral was blowing, they also suggested places to go where the sea would be calmer. We arrived on Sunday morning, August 15th, and only the friendly, welcoming cleaning lady was there to hand over the keys. She didn’t explain the rubbish collection or mention that laundry in Pantelleria is only available occasionally when water is delivered. I’m not sure that was the real reason, since we know a woman at the residence does laundry every day. Maybe it was our issue, or perhaps there wasn’t a technician available. Since it was a holiday, we thought it was understandable that the managers weren’t there. The following day we went to reception, but nobody was there then either. We never formally checked in or out, and ended up leaving the keys in the house.

The garden and pool are lovely, and being near town made the location really convenient. The property was comfortable and clean, though it has a few imperfections. I enjoyed my stay.

We spent 5 days here. The apartment was clean and had the comforts we needed, including a kitchen, fridge, and small veranda. It’s clearly not brand new and could use some updating, but I’d still recommend it.

Quiet and relaxing, with plenty of privacy and a decent location. The value for money is excellent. Definitely worth considering for a stay in Pantelleria.
