B&B la piazzetta

Alessandra was so kind and helpful. She picked me up at the railway station and drove me back there afterward. The room was large, nicely equipped, very clean, and I really loved staying there. It's right in centro storico on a picturesque square, within walking distance of Sanctuary San Franscesco di Paola and the beach. Breakfast is at a nearby bar, where I loved the Nutella croissant and cappuccino.

A nice place to stay.

Alessandra was a wonderful host. She picked us up at the Stazione and made sure we caught our train when we left. She also put us in touch with a local driver to take us to and from a nearby mountain town so we could trace some family roots. Her tips on places to eat and local sights were great. The location seemed ideal when we booked, and after three days in Paola we thought it was the best possible base for exploring, restaurants, and cafes. Step outside and you're right in local life, with the terrace looking over the Towns piazza. Our room was spacious and very clean. Grazie mille Alessandra. It was a pleasure to stay at la Piazzetta.

The rooms are clean, nicely furnished, and have everything needed, including towels and a hairdryer. Breakfast can be sorted with a voucher for participating cafés, or with packaged food in the B&B and the coffee machine guests can use. The owner is a delightful person, warm and attentive whenever we needed anything. That family feel and genuine hospitality made our stay even nicer. The B&B is right opposite Paola's main square, at the entrance to town, a great base for wandering the historic center, seeing the birthplace of Saint Francis, or reaching the famous Sanctuary on foot or by public transport. Highly recommended if you want a comfortable, central stay with a warm welcome.
