The direct path from our room to the water was fantastic. We stayed in a spacious but basic beachfront bungalow for one night on the way to Sicily. The beach was quiet and pebbly, with fairly clear, refreshing water. Trains pass close by, but they seemed to stop overnight and didn't disturb our sleep. The place is a good deal for its beachfront location, low price, and home-cooked food. Bathrooms weren't ideal and things creaked, but luxury wasn't what I'd expect at this price. Food is available on site for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. The staff were friendly, and a few spoke a little English. The train station is about a 1km walk away.

The sea may not work for little kids, but the nearby picturesque villages are a lovely reason to visit. I’d happily come back. The family running the place were helpful and friendly, and the homemade food was delicious, especially if you choose half or full board. The wooden bungalows are simple but comfortable, and the air conditioning keeps them cool. This year’s entertainment team was welcoming and talented, without being intrusive. Barbara, Massi, Annalisa, and Giada led the four young entertainers.

Our bungalow looked out over the sea, so we got to watch those beautiful sunsets every evening. We spent the last week of August there and left feeling sad to go. Everyone was so kind, from the owners to the fantastic entertainment team. Thank you for everything. ♥️
