Valentina got in touch before we arrived with local recommendations, then welcomed us herself and showed us around the property, sharing a little of its history. I was taken by all the thoughtful details, the flowers in bloom, and the pomegranates and olives on the trees. Melania made breakfast, which we really enjoyed. We'll definitely come back and tell our family and friends about you. We only had two days in Salento during our first trip to Italy and Puglia, but I'm glad we made time for them. It's a lovely, character-filled retreat that's visually beautiful without giving up comfort, and a great base for exploring the area. Gallipoli is 15 minutes away and has amazing seafood if you're a foodie. It won't be our last time here.

We spent our honeymoon at Il Giardino Grande and had such a beautiful time. The team welcomed us warmly and surprised us with Prosecco and fresh strawberries to celebrate. We enjoyed them on our spacious terrace, looking out over the grounds and pool. From the dreamy furnishings to the delicious food, thoughtful facilities, and kind, attentive staff, everything felt carefully considered. The team also booked us some delicious restaurants, suggested great beaches and local towns, and chatted with us about Italian culture and food while we had a spritz or two at the pool bar. We can't wait to return and would highly recommend this stunning property to future guests. Che Bello! Xx

The whole stay felt effortless, and we’re really grateful to Valentina and her team for that. Valentina shaped each day around what we wanted and helped us make the most of Puglia. The hotel has a personal feel despite being so luxurious, with stylish touches everywhere. Even the food, bathroom products, poolside cream and coffee were spot on. The staff were wonderful, especially Valentina. We’d recommend it without hesitation.
