We spent eight nights in the Pajara at Tenuta Yala during our summer 2025 vacation, combining a visit to Puglia with time at the beach. We took half board, with diner included. The setting is superb and very quiet, with more than decent facilities. Staff were really nice and helpful, though few speak English, and it was still easy to understand each other. The huge pool was always clean, and many days we chose it over the sea. Baia Verde, with its beautiful sand and nice water, is around 6-8 km away. We drove all over Puglia, from Santa Maria di Leuca up to Bari, Matera, and Alberobello. Gallipoli port is only 8-9 km away, and Lecce is about 40 minutes by car. The Pajara was cleaned daily and had fresh towels each day. The air conditioner was very powerful, cooling the room in just minutes. Dinner had a lovely atmosphere, with tables under the trees near the pool, quiet music, and the nicest staff.

The rooms were nice and the restaurant food was great. Just keep in mind that they also hold parties at the hotel. One afternoon we had to share the pool with 20 local teenagers dive bombing into it.
