The village is lovely, and every room seems to have a breathtaking view, whichever side you're on. We also had the terrace to ourselves for two days, which was such a treat. The hotel is spotless and tidy, the food was out of this world, and the whole place is quiet, just what we wanted. The staff were kind and professional. Since we had to leave early on our last day, they even put together a packed breakfast for us. Fantastic stay, and the reviews make sense!

The service is very good, though dinner can take longer if you go during the busy 19:00-20:00 window, as of August 2016. The restaurant serves lovely local food and excellent wines.

The rooms, or at least our apartment, are modern and really well equipped. It's a lovely little family-run hotel, and the staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is simple but high quality, with egg dishes made fresh, and dinner was delicious and very nicely prepared. The main drawback is the public transport to Partschins could do with a bigger bus. For the return trip, it's best to get on at Merano train station, otherwise you may end up waiting for an empty bus.
