The owners were warm and helpful throughout our stay. The apartment itself has a bright, roomy living area and a little balcony that makes a lovely extra. It’s recently renovated and carefully kept, with a walk-in closet in the bedroom. The bathroom was spotless, though there’s no bidet or washing machine. The kitchen worked well for a holiday and has a dishwasher, but we missed having basic seasonings and dish soap. A beautiful place to stay near Parcines, and I’d recommend it.

We hardly needed our car, thanks to the free village buses, and there’s a bus connection to Merano too. The Hochwart apartment is well placed for hiking, and a little shop selling fresh baked goods is under a three-minute walk away. We spent a week there in June 2022. It’s a spacious, very pleasant ground-floor place with a sunny terrace, and the landlords were friendly and shared ideas for outings and local events. Thanks to the Kaserer family. We’d happily return.

Getting around was easy without a car, and it was very quiet. The apartment had everything we needed, and the landlady was lovely. It’s centrally located to Partschins, less than ten minutes away, and you can reach all the sights by bus. A really wonderful holiday apartment.

For the price, this is one of the best apartments in town. It’s modern and furnished with care, and the owners are especially friendly and family-oriented. If you expect more than this, you’re missing out.
