We found plenty to enjoy at breakfast, with enough options even for our picky toddler. Our room was tidy and clean, and the balcony had an amazing view. The one privacy issue was the glass bathroom door: it wouldn’t lock, and a gap by the wall meant it didn’t feel fully private. We also wished there had been an extra towel for the baby, since the room had only a set for two. We stayed with our baby in the off season, so it wasn’t crowded. The staff were very friendly, patient, and helpful, and the service was great.

The food was a highlight every time, made with quality ingredients and so much care. Definitely try the “strudel”, each bite felt like heaven. The steakhouse deserves all its stars too. The hotel felt relaxing from the moment we arrived, and everything was exceptionally clean. The owners and staff were incredibly sweet and helpful, and the family atmosphere was lovely. Panorama made our holiday a dream, 10/10.

I was disappointed to be charged 6 euros for two tea bags in the room. Every other hotel I’ve stayed in has provided those as standard. And the breakfast espresso was a shame for Italy, just brown water.

The room was large, parking was convenient, and I really liked the view. Although the hotel is right by the main road, I didn’t hear traffic from inside with the windows closed. The pool and relaxation area are a plus, but I’d rate them 6.5. Room cleaning was okay, though a few details around reception and the rooms could use more attention. Breakfast was standard and a bit poor for me, with little typical, homemade, or truly local food. It could work as an alternative if hotels in Meran and nearby are full. A decent base for visiting Meran and Val Venosta.
