Residenza La Vigna

The manager called just 10 minutes after we left because I'd forgotten our passports, which saved us from a potential disaster. Great service. We were only there for one night on our way to Sicily, but found it friendly and peaceful, with clean apartments and grounds. The air conditioning and WIFI worked fine, and the pool area was excellent. Tropea and other small coastal towns are nearby, along with plenty of lovely, uncrowded sandy beaches. Good value, too.

A quiet spot tucked among lovely greenery, close to Tropea. The rooms were clean, there's a nice pool for guests, and the owners are really friendly. It's an old family-owned “masseria” that the owner turned into a lovely residence for families. Strongly recommended!

Michele, the owner, is down-to-earth, genuine, and always around to help. The resort itself is beautifully kept, with clean green areas, well-arranged spaces, and quiet, comfortable rooms. We had an unforgettable week and were welcomed warmly from the start. The staff were smiling, attentive, and available whenever we needed something. The large pool was clean, with loungers and shaded spots for relaxing. You're only minutes from the sea, and it's easy to get there by car. This was even better than we expected. We'll be back!

The grounds are attractive and reasonably well kept, and the pool is gorgeous. Tropea is only a few minutes away by car. The accommodation itself was disappointing. The houses are packed into a small area with no real privacy, and the residence is far from the sea. The furnishings are old and very sparse. There's just one air conditioner, in the bedroom. The owner told us by phone that the living room sofa would be comfortable for my daughter and her baby, but its mattress was awful, as was the bedroom mattress. The living room also has the kitchenette, but no shelf or even a small chest of drawers, so we had to leave our essentials on a chair. A little bathroom shelf would be essential too. It really feels like no consideration was given. It wouldn't take much to improve things.
