Franco may be the nicest man in the world. His hotel was sold out when we arrived, so he drove us to another lovely, fairly priced place just a few minutes away. Later, the main restaurant in town had no seats when we went for dinner. Franco happened to be there with a group, invited us to join his table, got the restaurant to bring extra chairs, and ordered us a three-course meal. Then he wouldn't let us pay. Stay at his hotel and you might get a free dinner ;)

We came as a family group of eight for four days, visiting the places where our family lived before moving to the USA. La Terrazza di Hamarkhis worked well for us because it was centrally located and had enough room. The proprietor treated us like family. On our first night, he took us by car to a local restaurant, introduced us to the owner, and arranged an amazing meal. While we were there, he also hosted friends for a cookout and insisted we join in. We tried some special grilled Sicilian dishes and met wonderful local people. We can't say he'll treat every guest the same way, but it's hard to imagine him interacting with people any other way. The rooms were spotless, the Wi-Fi strong, the deck spacious, and the views amazing. We'd highly recommend it, especially to larger groups needing separate rooms with en-suite facilities.

The room was clean and the owner very friendly. The beautiful view and jacuzzi are what make this place special.

The surroundings were peaceful, and the roof terrace was lovely. This B&B exceeded our expectations.
