The villa was lovely, but be warned that Sicily's infrastructure isn't great. There was rubbish all along the roads, and we had to ask where we were supposed to dispose of the villa's rubbish.

So peaceful and beautiful, surrounded by nature. One of the best places I've ever stayed, and the perfect spot to fully relax.

The villa was spotless and set in a peaceful olive garden. The pool is cleaned every two days, and there are three extra outdoor showers, an outdoor toilet, and an outdoor kitchen. There was plenty of room and everything we needed for eight people. It's a superb spot, but waste collection is the one issue. At the end of the stay, you have to take the sorted garbage yourself to the landfill, 5 km away, which is open from 8:00 to 11:00. Sitting in the heat with the smell from bags of garbage that take 10 days to decompose was unforgettable, and the queue at the dump took 1 hour. If you don't take the garbage yourself, 200 euros comes out of your security deposit.

A spacious, beautiful villa with a pool and all the amenities, plus a separate outbuilding. It's in a quiet spot, though the access road is dirt.

There's lots of room in this quiet place out in the countryside. The barbecue area, with its ancient oven, is fantastic, and the two centuries-old pine trees make for a magical atmosphere.
