The view is stunning at any time, with beautiful colors over the sea and sky and some fabulous sunsets. Set among peaceful olive groves, the property is just a few minutes by car or on foot from the shore below Marina di San Gregorio, and 1 km from Torre Vado. It's easy to reach, with space for both small cars and large SUVs. I also found Angela, the owner, wonderfully kind and always smiling. When I contacted her close to 11 p.m., after office hours, about a small problem caused by my own carelessness, she still went out of her way to help sort it out. For me, this will be a regular base whenever I visit and holiday in Salento. It's a great choice for a relaxing meal and some rest among the olive trees, just steps from the sea.

The view is breathtaking, and the countryside around the house is lovely for a barbecue. We liked the two-room apartment and its terrace for family evenings. You need a car or bicycle to get to the beach. There isn't a TV, and the evenings are dim enough that we had to use our phone flashlights. There are lots of cats around, so keep that in mind if you're allergic. Have a great holiday.

The owners are very friendly, and the sea is easy to get to. If peace and quiet matter to you, it's a lovely place to visit. Out of season, it makes a wonderful spot for contemplation.
