The owners were very kind and accommodating. This was our second visit, and I hope it won't be the last. The chalet is wonderfully situated, with a beautiful view of Lake Como. For peace and a trip into the mountains, this is a great spot. Nearby Livo has an authentic feel and an excellent trattoria, sv. Anna. For more activity, head to Gravedona, then take a boat to Varenna or even Como. Thank you!

This was our second week-long family holiday here with our dog. The views and charm of the little house in the mountains above Lake Como make up for the very adventurous drive: a narrow, unlit track through the forest, partly unpaved, with horrendous potholes. The hosts were friendly, easy to deal with, and always available. Rita speaks excellent English. There's no Wi-Fi in the accommodation, which could matter if you're traveling with teenagers. We didn't mind, since the beautiful nature all around kept us entertained. One thing to improve: the double-bed mattresses are very hard, while the bunk-bed mattresses feel like hammocks.
