The room had very nice views, but the hotel felt like it was falling apart from the inside, especially because of the staff. The atmosphere was rotten, and I felt ripped off. Staff were rude and seemed to treat you differently depending on your nationality. The food was mediocre at best, with small portions and a very long, standoffish restaurant experience. It felt like the worst parts of fine dining without the highlights. I even saw a white-colored steak. In my opinion, this isn't fit to be called a four-star hotel. Want a romantic dip in the pool? You need a bathing cap, and there's an attendant watching to make sure it stays on. She'll call you out if it slips, or for anything else.

The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a large bedroom and a regular, comfortable bed, a stylish bathroom, and a living room with a pullout couch. The view was amazing, though reaching the final destination meant walking up the mountain a bit. We stayed through RCI for our honeymoon, and the hotel offered all meals. Breakfast brunch was delicious and affordable at 8 Euro per person. The other meals cost 20-25 Euro per person, and probably aren't the best value unless you want to splurge. The pool and sauna cost extra, so amenities are pretty bare bones unless you pay. Some staff spoke English, but be ready to ask plenty of questions to get the information you need. It's not as fancy as some resorts, but the quality and space are good for much better prices. I'd definitely recommend it.

The owners were so kind, and the view from the hotel was lovely. I spent one night here and thought it was one of the best hotels I've ever stayed at. The food was amazing, and the pool and sauna were really relaxing. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a break from routine and some time in nature.

The restaurant served a very good dinner, with a few options to choose from, and the staff were friendly and very attentive. One day each week there's live entertainment, and the one-man band was really good, doing his best to make you smile and feel good. Breakfast was okay. It's a place I'd come back to, with things to visit in every direction. Just make sure you're up for driving the Italian hill switchbacks on the way, depending where you're coming from, and don't get dizzy! The hotel is an older place on a small hill, with a typically Italian style. The rooms are big, have double doors, and come with decent WLAN, a TV, and a fridge.
