Residence Ca Delle Margherite

We had cosy rooms with lovely views, and the people looking after us were very nice. There was table tennis and a relaxation area to spend time in. We were lucky with the weather too: 80 new cm of snow and sunshine, with perfect conditions for the whole last week. Thank you, hopefully we’ll come again.

We travelled as four and were given one bedroom with a king-size bed and two small beds. The kitchen had only four plates, forks, and so on, with no dish soap, sponge, or dishwasher cubes, so we were washing dishes constantly. The Wi-Fi in our apartment didn’t work, despite us paying for it. At checkout, there were sizeable extra charges, including €50 for cleaning. The owners were hard to find during the day and very rude when we did reach them. We had car trouble and got back just as our wellness booking began. We’d tried to change it earlier, but no one was around. When we asked if we could go an hour later, the owner shouted at us and said we’d have to pay even if we didn’t go. We hurried to get changed and went in, then other people arrived. They had a booking for the following hour, but the owner asked them to come in early. It seemed he thought we wouldn’t show and wanted to close early. When booking, we were told the wellness area would be just for us. Later, the owners shouted that they’d never said that, which was clearly a lie. The people who came during our booking said they’d also been told it would be reserved just for them and the whole place. The place itself wasn’t the worst, but the management was.

The apartments are large, comfortable, and warm, and there’s a ski room with shoe dryers. Wi-Fi throughput was poor. The pool and sauna cost extra.

The apartments were nice, but noise carried from the next room and we could hear everything. We were a bit frustrated to learn wellness cost extra, but it was OK once we could reserve the whole area for our group.
