The rooms are roomy, though the floors could have been cleaner, and the Michelin-starred restaurant was mediocre. Since this hotel is an annex, you have to walk over to the pool, which isn't ideal. We were lucky that the hotel manager handled our requests, because the front desk manager was awful, incompetent and unfriendly. He doesn't seem to have a very good team around him. Reply xoncve

There isn't a bar or breakfast room open here, but guests can use Sant Uffizio's facilities, including breakfast, the pool and the spa, which costs extra. There's also a bistro and an à la carte restaurant, though prices are above average. The standard double was spacious, with lots of storage and a large bathroom with a shower, toilet and bidet. It had air conditioning, but the system was centrally controlled so I could only adjust the temperature. The room felt dark and didn't get much daylight, and the beds were far too hard. There's no private balcony or terrace, only a shared rooftop terrace. A cooling shower up there would be nice, and the furniture needs seat cushions.

The one thing missing for me was secure bike storage. Otherwise, the rooms were very clean, quiet, comfortable and well equipped, and there’s plenty of parking right beside the property.

The place is really nice and peaceful, and the spa was spotless and well equipped. Big thanks to Mr. Massimo from the LDC receptionist, who helped me through several problems and made it possible to have a wonderful weekend here. I'll be back.
