The food is so good!

Rosanna was so kind, and breakfast was excellent. She made everything herself, from the cakes and cookies to the jam. We only stayed one night with the family, but had a great time. The rooms are a bit dated, though clean. There's a TV and phone in each room, but no air conditioning, just a fan. Guests can use a kitchen, with a fridge for their own things, and parking is available. We'll come back if we're in the area again.

The owner and restaurant staff made us feel at home, and we had a wonderful time. All the food is locally sourced. The bean soup with pork rind was delicious, as were the lamb chops. The rosé wine was excellent, and the black cherry liqueur was especially good. We'll definitely return for more of your delicacies when we're passing through those beautiful places near the Gran Sasso.

Four of us ate for 55 euros in July 2017: two large appetizers, two first courses, two mains with two sides, one coffee and two waters. The price felt fair for the food, and the portions are generous. The appetizers alone had us full, and I'm 130 kg, so I know a thing or two about that. The homemade cooking was well prepared, and the young waitress was very friendly. We started with cured meats, cheese with honey and chili jam, stuffed vegetables, frittatas and other hot treats. The spaghetti alla chitarra with red meatball sauce was excellent, and the tagliatelle with duck sauce was spectacular. Lamb and rabbit were superb. One small flaw: the coffee was decent for what it was, but made with a moka pot. A Nespresso or Lavazza pod would've made a difference. I know, I'm a bit of a pain.

What a lovely week at Agriturismo Za' Beata. The family made me feel like a friend from the start, especially Antonio, who was wonderful company, and his family. Rosanna and her two young children were so affectionate and curious. I got to enjoy Mamma Antonietta's amazing cooking on the farm, and I want to thank her publicly for it. I mixed walks by the sea in Roseto with trips to the Gran Sasso, which is incredibly beautiful, and spent plenty of happy time right there at the farm. I was lucky to be staying at Za' Beata during the famous Folklore Festival and Meeting, organized by Laccio d'Amore. It's a unique tradition that people really care about, with concerts, traditional food and lots of lively entertainment. Thank you, Za' Beata, and the De Nardis family!
