For a very low price, we got a nice, fairly large room that could fit two people, along with a decent-sized bathroom and shower. The Wi-Fi worked well. Haus Peskoller is effectively connected with the neighboring Hotel Berghof, where you collect the room keys and can park if there’s no space at Haus Peskoller. The location is handy for sightseeing: Seceda and Tre Cime are each about an hour away by car, and Lago di Braies is around 30 minutes away.

We had a room in the attic, and it was quite dark, though the guesthouse is beautifully located. Staff were friendly and helpful, and the prices were reasonable. The booking communication by email was especially good, with our messages answered right away. You can also get tasty meals at affordable prices in the hotel next door; breakfast costs 17 euros. We’d recommend it.

The room was rustic but charming, and the staff were very friendly. Breakfast at the Wahldof Hotel next door was excellent. My only complaint was the pillows. The location is great for visiting the Puster Valley and is close to the train station.

We stayed five nights and found the experience very disappointing. The room was dark, with a low wall and hedge right outside the window, and the website photos didn't match what we saw. The bed was uncomfortable, especially the pillows. The bathroom was small, windowless, and had no bidet. We ate at the nearby hotel one evening: two roasts and a bottle of water came to 50 euros. The next morning, two coffees and two pastries cost 10 euros. We definitely won't return.
