Residenza La Casuccia made our Tuscan countryside escape feel like a dream. The place was clean and cosy, with everything we needed. Irene and Sara greeted my husband and me when we arrived, which felt really personal and welcoming. The I Am Tuscany team helped arrange a private welcome dinner, wine tours, and taxis. They were like a concierge, and recommended some of the best places to eat. I can't wait to stay at one of their gorgeous locations again. An absolute must-stay!

We spent a week there and had a really nice, cosy stay. It's fairly close to some of Tuscany's beautiful historic villages and cities.

The village around the property is peaceful, and the people are friendly and welcoming, which suits the history of the place. Its old Tuscan character comes through in the stones, beams, and corners, but the age doesn't mean things are worn out or neglected. The modern details are carefully worked into the atmosphere: fast, strong Wi-Fi, a full kitchen, refrigerator, hot water, TV, heat pump, and carbon monoxide detectors. The cleaning is meticulous, and the sheets, towels, and pillowcases are all in good shape and fully provided. Staying here makes it easy to imagine the past, and the historic property is clearly well cared for. I'd recommend it to families, including those with pets, and to couples looking for a peaceful, romantic stay.

Irene's attentiveness is priceless. We will definitely return to this 11th-century residence in a medieval village. It keeps the feel of a rustic stone home, with solid walls, roomy interiors, wooden beam ceilings, and a huge working stone fireplace. The welcome inside feels warm, and there are modern comforts too, including a well-equipped kitchen.
