B&b Al Castel Charme

Antonella and her family welcomed us so warmly that we felt at home within minutes. We were the only two guests, staying one night at Al Castel Charme last week while cycling along the Via Claudia Augusta. They helped with our bikes and even sorted out pizza for us, although it was already late. If you like family-run B&Bs with heart and soul, I couldn't recommend this place more. „Si arriva come ospiti, si parte come amici“

I got to explore Baselga di pinè, where my family comes from, hike, eat great local food, and finally try paragliding in the Dolomites. B&B Al Castel Charme made a lovely base for all of it. Pergine Valsugana has historic buildings, cafés, and shops, and there’s a lake nearby with recreation and good restaurants. The castle I’d read about on the B&B’s Facebook page was wonderfully close, and the view from up there stretches across the valley to the Dolomite Mountains I spent the next week exploring. I was nervous about returning to Europe after 20 years away, but the hostess put me at ease before I even arrived. She emailed me directly in English with travel details and a warm welcome. I was there alone for a few days on an extended visit, and she also invited my local relatives to join me for wine, cheese, and specialty cold cuts. That hospitality made me feel right at home. On her recommendation, I visited the Muse Museum in Toronto and another great museum next door. It rounded out a wonderful vacation in Italy. I’ll be back soon and will stay here again.

Really nice B&B, spotlessly clean, with lovely rooms and a super friendly host. I’d definitely recommend staying here.
