We went up to the castle after the information point in town told us it would be open for visits, and we had even paid for the shuttle. Once there, we had to keep ringing the bell along with other people. A woman eventually came out and said the castle was closed, despite the sign saying it was open. When we pointed that out, she let us in, but the castle was actually closed apart from the 2:00 PM tour. Several Christmas websites listed it as open for visits, and the posted opening time was 11:00 AM, so that's when we had gone up. The restaurant was the only thing open. Someone who had come up with us on the shuttle stopped there and had a bad meal. We went back to town, where both the shuttle driver, who was very kind, and the person in charge at the information point were shocked.

The rooms were spotless and had everything we needed. The owner was also very friendly and ready to help with anything. The apartment itself was lovely, with a breathtaking view.
