The apartment was spotless and had everything we needed, and the pool was great. It’s a well-maintained, well-run place with a lovely quiet atmosphere and wonderful lake views. Shops and a coffee shop are just a few minutes away for daily errands. The apartments sit quite high up, though, so I’d recommend renting a car.

You’ll want a car, and be ready for some walking, but the place has everything for a great holiday. We loved it. We had a penthouse with bedrooms, and the view was out of this world. The apartments were great, and the service was excellent. Thanks, Lina&Mario!

Lina Moosooliah was an exceptional host, always easy to reach and happy to help or point us in the right direction. When we arrived, she’d already bought milk, wine, and some snacks for us. She made sure we had a lovely stay, and we’re grateful for her kindness. My husband and I spent three weeks in May and the beginning of June 2016 in Varenna, in the Bliss Apartment at Apartments Rossini. We couldn’t have been happier. From our balcony there was an incredible, uninterrupted view over the lake and the villages around it. The cobbled steps down the mountain to the village, docks, restaurants, and shops took about 15 minutes, and we really enjoyed that walk. We recommend Apartments Rossini 100%. For getting back after dinner, we used the taxi company Lina recommended, RITA FAGGI. The two sisters who own it, Rita and Veronica, picked us up every evening. They were friendly, helpful, and very dependable. Walking downhill was a pleasure, but the uphill walk isn’t for everyone unless you’re into outdoor activities, so we took a cab back each day. Thanks, Lina, for making our stay such a good one.
