Hotel Embassy Pero

The staff were friendly and the service was great, and breakfast was quite good. Still, the room and the price left me disappointed. I paid 100 euros a night and expected better value, especially given how far out the hotel is. It was okay for my work trip, but I wouldn’t choose it for a holiday. The room was cramped, and the double bed was just two singles pushed together. I kept slipping into the gap at night. I booked a double specifically for more space and a proper bed. Some areas weren’t clean, and the hotel felt dated technically. I found a hair in the bed, plus stains and mosquito remains on the walls, and the lobby windows looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in ages. I stayed three days, which was enough. For a longer visit, I’d pick somewhere else.

Sara was brilliant at reception and also managing the bar. She was sweet, really friendly, and always accommodating. Definitely someone I’d want to keep on the team.

The room was clean and comfortable to sleep in, and the staff who welcomed me were incredibly kind and helpful. Breakfast the next morning was included in the price and fantastic, with lots to choose from. I did miss having cutlery, a fridge, and even a cup or glass in the room. For people staying longer, access to a washing machine would be nice too.

I stayed one night. The staff were friendly and breakfast was good, though the room was small and the shower barely had any water pressure.
