Antico Casal Del Bosco

We had a great stay at this lovely farmhouse surrounded by greenery, with a spectacular view. Its location is handy for reaching Perugia, Gubbio, and Assisi. It’s a typical Umbrian farmhouse, with private rooms and shared spaces, including the kitchen, living room, and outdoor areas, used by other guests too. The access road can be tricky for some cars and drivers, but otherwise it was a very good stay.

Loes and Jean were incredibly hospitable when our car broke down on the second day. They even drove us to and from the garage. We still had a fantastic time without the car, with a great view and a very nice room. The shared kitchen was handy for cooking, and there was plenty of room to relax by the pool. Definitely recommended!

The hospitality from Loes and Jean is what really makes this place special. They go out of their way to make sure you’re comfortable, and breakfast is delicious too. We’ve stayed here twice now and definitely plan to return. The B&B sits in the peaceful Umbrian hills, with lovely rooms and plenty of places to explore nearby. We’ve stayed at quite a few B&Bs, and this one is a real find.

The views from the breakfast table, dining area, and pool are beautiful. There’s a big, spotless kitchen where you can make dinner, plus free mineral water and ice pops. With only seven rooms, it never feels crowded. It’s a remote spot, but you can rent a car for trips farther out. Rooms are very clean, the beds are especially comfortable, and there’s plenty of privacy and peace and quiet. You’ll also find Wi-Fi, satellite TV with Dutch, Belgian, German, and other channels, a library, games, DVDs, and magazines. Breakfast is delicious, and the place feels luxurious throughout.
