Best Western Hotel Quattrotorri Perugia

The staff have made every one of my month-long stays feel welcoming. I’m grateful to Debra and everyone else for making my time in Perugia so special. They’re lovely people, and I’ve had some of the best sleep of my life here. The beds are cozy, and the rooms have a fridge, a desk for studying or eating, and a great TV for movie nights. You can connect your computer to stream movies with an adaptor you can buy. I also use the downstairs gym to change up my workouts, whether that means yoga, lifting heavy, or walking on the treadmill while reading the news or textbooks. There’s plenty of equipment, plus water, towels, fans, and cleaning supplies. Breakfast is plentiful, with yogurt, cheese, meat, fresh scrambled eggs, cakes, croissants, sourdough, toast, and more. You can ask for fresh coffee, and Sandra and Carol make terrific cappuccinos. There’s tea and juice too. They’ve recently added a panini press, which has been a game changer for my friends and me. We can make crispy ham and cheese croissants and toasties. Il Vizio, the sushi restaurant attached to the hotel, serves excellent Japanese food along with some Italian dishes. My favorite is the Chirashi Poke Bowl. Room service is available by dialing 1045 from the room phone. They get busy, so I suggest calling at 6:30pm if you want your meal around 7:45-8pm. I’ve stayed here for a month multiple times a year, and it’s easy to settle in for a long visit.

Terrible business. My room is right over the bar, and the music blasted all night. I called reception twice and was basically told they couldn’t do anything. They offered earplugs. Seriously? Stay somewhere else!

After two weeks of travel around Italy, this has been my best hotel so far. The front desk staff are professional and helpful, and breakfast was delicious and really well organized.

The rooms look lovely after the renovation, and the bed was nice. But the owner has turned the restaurant into a disco with a DJ and extremely loud music until 1am. It showed no respect for hotel guests, and sleeping was impossible. Don’t book here, go elsewhere.
