The welcome stood out most: the owner was cheerful, genuinely hospitable, and always ready to help. The B&B is only a few minutes from Verona, though it’s tucked away and not well marked from the street, so Maps came in handy. Our attic room was roomy, clean, and comfortable, and the converted bathroom had a comfortable shower. Breakfast tasted great, with chocolate cake and cream, a warm brioche with jam, toast and assorted jams, plus coffee, milk, and juice. The selection felt a little limited: there wasn’t a savory option, and another cake choice might have been nice for fussier eaters. That’s a minor point, though. I’d happily come back.

Antonella made us feel at home straight away, and the room had a lovely fairytale feel. We spent a weekend here while exploring Verona and the surrounding area. Everything was neat and very clean, including the private bathroom, which had all the comforts we needed. Breakfast was generous and delicious, especially the homemade chocolate cake. A great base in Verona and the province, and a place where you feel well looked after.

The courtyard parking felt secure, with an automatic gate, and breakfast was worthy. I only stayed one night, but found the property welcoming and the staff friendly and helpful. My ground-floor room was lovely, with a little table looking out onto the courtyard, a small kitchen, and a roomy bathroom with a window. The bed was very comfortable, and extra pillows and blankets were in the closet.

The location worked really well for getting around, with Verona and Acquardens only a few kilometers away, and breakfast was plentiful. Our room itself was lovely, but there were some snags. The heating was off when we arrived, and breakfast wasn’t ready that morning, so we had to get in touch with the owner. The bathroom and shower are quite low, which wasn’t comfortable for someone who isn’t short. The extra bed was missing at first; they added it after we asked and got it sorted quickly.
