A quiet, decent little B&B.

We only stayed one night, but it was a really lovely visit. The place felt warm, peaceful, and clean, and our bedroom had its own bathroom. The shared kitchen was stocked well enough for a delicious breakfast. Although we were right in the center, we slept soundly, with no noise and a very comfortable bed. The price was excellent compared with other places. The husband and wife who run it were both warm and kind, and their helpfulness made us feel very welcome. We’ll definitely come back.

The double room was spacious, and it’s very close to Central Station and the pedestrian area around Piazza Salotto. Parking can be tricky if you’re arriving by car.

The only good thing was the WiFi. My stay was shameful from the start. I’d warned the glasses-wearing lady that a train problem would make me an hour late, especially with the already short check-in window. She said to call and she’d let me in. After a six-hour train ride, I stood outside the B&B for ten minutes, calling and ringing the intercom, with no answer. I went to get food, and later she took her time sending provocative texts, making me wait another two hours. When I called again, she wouldn’t even tell me which floor the B&B was on, and I was treated terribly. The room was squalid: rotten fruit for breakfast, a black hair in the sink, a kettle with no plug, shabby bedding, no bidet, and a shower tray covered with a piece of plastic. I also suspect she went into my room while I was out and took the toilet paper from the bathroom. All this cost €40 for one night. Paying customers shouldn’t be treated like this, and if one extra hour upsets your life, change jobs. More politeness is needed. I strongly advise people not to give these people their money. Dear lady, be careful about mentioning cameras, since you could be sued for invasion of privacy. Aren’t you aware of that? The falsehoods you write on Booking.com to cover your face are one thing, but be careful what you say. I should add that your review on Booking.com was recently deleted. A guilty conscience? Be careful with this property.
