Hotel Salus

The price felt a bit high for what we got, and breakfast was on the poor side. Still, the room was nice, and both the furnishings and the cleanliness were good. The hotel is right by the beach, which is a great location. Fine for a night or two.

Lunch at the hotel’s beach restaurant was excellent, especially the seafood, and the service was great. The hotel itself is small, with friendly, excellent staff. Our room was clean but quite small, particularly the bathroom, and breakfast was good thanks to the wonderful woman looking after it. The seaside location is perfect. The hotel’s “palm” beach area with sunbeds was a different story at €50 a day. There were no towels or food and drink service to the bed, it wasn’t a front-row spot, and someone was already sitting in our place when we arrived. That price competes with Riviera and five-star Caribbean hotels.

The staff were awesome and really helpful, and the cleaning was so thorough. I’d left my things scattered around when I rushed out, but they refreshed the room and left all my belongings where they were. Restaurants and a great beach are just across the road. Such a lovely place, and absolutely reasonable for the price. Best place I’ve stayed in Italy.

The breakfast was better than I expected, and the rooms have been renovated. The bathrooms are tiny, though, and the hot water pressure was weak. It’s a nice hotel for an emergency stop of a night or two.
