All I got was a bed in a room. There wasn’t even a towel. The shower tap was broken, and we could barely shower. There were no mosquito nets on the doors, so opening one for some air let in loads of mosquitoes. The fan only made noise and didn’t cool the room. I had a nightmare of a night. Don’t go, it’s not worth it.

The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was very spacious. It’s only a six-minute drive from the airport. For a three-day stay, though, there was just one very, very small towel, and they should at least provide a small electric kettle. On arrival I was asked to pay the city tax, but they didn’t give me a receipt, even when I asked.

The view is amazing, and the owner was so kind and friendly. It was peaceful and really clean, just right for switching off from everyday stress for a bit. We can’t wait to come back in January. I’d happily recommend this villa.
