The biggest drawback for us was the noise. Sound carries so badly that, with families and children running, shouting, and banging doors, it felt like being at a grandparents' house for Christmas. The room was small, as we'd booked a small one, but it seemed even tighter than expected; the bathroom, though, was a decent size. The price was another issue, although we booked at the last minute and didn't have much choice. The location is great, with a mini-market nearby and plenty of shops, bars, and restaurants. You can't drive right up to the hotel, but the town is small and permitted nearby parking is at most a 5-10 minute walk away. Staff throughout the hotel, including at reception and breakfast, were welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast is typical Italian fare, mostly sweets and coffee with very few other options, though nearly all the sweets are homemade. Some people complain that it's not a self-service buffet, but we didn't mind and had no problem with the lovely breakfast staff.
