Rifugio del Pettirosso

We had a romantic weekend here, and the little balcony looking onto the side garden made our small room feel lovely. It had everything we needed. The garden itself is a relaxing spot, with loungers and sofas, and breakfast is served there when the weather allows. The Rifugio is just outside the center of Pescasseroli, and with its few rooms and on-site parking, it’s a peaceful place to stay. The owners are really kind and helpful.

We’ve stayed here twice and felt right at home each time. It’s a quiet family-run B&B, about a five-minute walk from the center of Pescasseroli. Everyone was so friendly, breakfast was excellent, and they changed the towels daily. We’ll definitely come back.

The owners were so kind and ready to help with anything we needed during our 15-day stay. The property has adjacent parking and everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. It’s also close to the center, with lovely walks just a stone’s throw away. We really enjoyed the excellent service, daily towel changes, and breakfast in the garden with homemade cakes. I recommend it for a great vacation.

The location is convenient, close to the town center, and the garden was well kept. Breakfast was decent, and the management and hospitality were excellent. But the beds and bed frames need updating, and the rooms definitely need a makeover. I slept very poorly, partly because the ground-floor rooms aren’t separated from the breakfast and dining room. When some guests were noisy and had the TV up in the evening, I had to go ask them to turn it down, especially as I have two small children.
