The food was excellent, and the maître and restaurant waitstaff were the only real bright spots. The rest was disappointing, and I felt a bit misled. “All inclusive” applies very loosely: it only covers the pool bar, not the beach. The lido isn’t part of the hotel, and it’s at least a 200-meter walk beyond the property. Check-in took half an hour, then we waited six hours for our room, even though we’d called the week before to confirm an early arrival. With a six-month-old baby, that was a rough start to the holiday. The rooms are dated and well below four-star standard.

The triple room we booked was very spacious, with a balcony and a fantastic view over Peschici. The hotel has a nice appearance and comfortable shared spaces. The food at the restaurant was great and very tasty, and all three pools are spacious. The beach nearby is especially beautiful.

The food was good, and the pools, beach, and cleaning were all good too. The parking was the problem: it was quite far away, there was no security, and reception had no area for unloading luggage, so we had to carry our bags without a trolley.
