Butterfly Camping Village

The shop was very handy, with essentials plus fresh bread and pastries each morning, and there was always something for the kids to do. Ours stayed entertained with the playgrounds, organised games, and lake activities. The site felt relaxed, safe, and welcoming, with spacious pitches and everything clean and well maintained. We had a fantastic stay at this campsite and highly recommend it for a Lake Garda visit. It’s in a great spot, just a short walk from the lake and its beautiful views and clear water. The pool was a highlight too, clean and well kept, and enjoyable for adults and kids throughout the day. There’s a pub and restaurant on site with delicious food and drinks at very reasonable prices. Service was friendly and excellent, and Georgia was particularly lovely to deal with and made us feel welcome.

We stayed in our motorhome for 4 nights. The site was clean and secure, and it was easy to reach the ferry in Peschiera, as well as buses and trains to Verona. There are more bungalows than camping pitches, so there were lots of groups of youngsters and it could get noisy at night. The showers had nowhere to put your wash items, and the open gaps instead of doors and windows could make them chilly.

The place itself is nice, but the camp staff and management were terrible. It took 20 minutes to check in. Why? At 260EUR per night, the beds in the house hadn’t been made and one bed cover was missing. The woman at the reception didn’t feel the need to apologize for the mistake. They also wanted a 100EUR deposit for the TV remote control :-) At checkout, instead of asking whether I’d enjoyed my stay, they asked if I’d washed the dishes and thrown out the garbage.

A nice site by the lake, with good entertainment and activities for kids in the evening. The pool was good, with two slides and plenty of sun beds. Staff were nice and check-in was very efficient. It’s best suited to younger children, up to 13. Book with Eurocamp or Roan rather than Happy Camps/AllCamps for better service.
