Hotel Dori

Breakfast was pretty ordinary, though there wasn't anything particularly wrong with it. The hotel itself was nice enough, but noise came straight through the room doors and walls. Another guest spent much of the night walking the corridor with her crying baby, and we were awake for most of it. I've raised two kids myself, so I understand how hard that can be. Better soundproofing, or taking the baby outside for a walk, might have helped.

Being close to the center was the only upside. The rest of the stay was awful, especially the reception service. The receptionist didn't seem to care about us as customers. With so many other places in the area, we wouldn't come back and can't recommend it.

The room felt like they had thought of everything, and we really enjoyed staying at hotel dori. Breakfast was great too, especially the good coffee brought to our table. There are bars and restaurants nearby, and the receptionist was lovely and gave us helpful advice. We'd definitely recommend it.

The only real drawback was being near the road, and there's no pool. Otherwise, our recent three-night stay was fantastic, and we'd come back. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast had a really good continental selection. The free car park is right beside the hotel, and the old town and lake are just a few minutes on foot. At check-in, Valentino, the lovely receptionist, spoke great English and shared lots of useful tips for the Lake, Venice and Verona. Thanks to all the lovely staff for making the trip so enjoyable.
