Palazzo Ai Capitani

I’d hoped to stay near the harbor, but there was no availability, so I ended up here. It turned out to be a gift in disguise. The hotel sits on a lovely little street in Peschiera, just where I wanted to be. The staff were caring, friendly, and helpful, and there are several good restaurants only seconds away on foot. Hygiene protocols were followed. After a long day of sightseeing and activities, it was quiet enough to rest, while still being close to local attractions and train or bus stops. I’d love to come back and recommend it to anyone looking for that kind of location.

We stayed in the prestige room, and it was amazing. The staff were awesome, and so was breakfast. The large balcony was lovely, though the roof wall meant there was no view from it. The air conditioning worked properly, unlike the “fake” kind you find in a lot of hotels. We’d definitely come back!

The room was lovely, spacious, and quiet, with a skylight, a large washroom and shower, and a super comfortable bed. The location was great for restaurants, the train, bus, ferry, and lakeside paths. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the housekeeping team was amazing. They paid attention to little details as they cleaned, and I felt really well looked after.

The room decor was nice and the location was great, but the stay fell short. There was tea and coffee in the room, but no milk. The staff weren’t welcoming, and reception felt like a morgue. Breakfast had no bread on two of the three days. For the service we got, it was overpriced, and I wouldn’t stay again.
