We were five and had plenty of space in this amazing house, with great views and hosts who made everything feel perfect. There’s a fantastic restaurant about four minutes away, Monte A Pescia. Give it a try, you won’t regret it. We’d absolutely stay here again if we return to Tuscany.

This is a really large house, furnished with care and in a practical way, with plenty of garden space to sit or stretch out. We loved the views, jacuzzi, pizza oven and barbecue. The first drive up feels a little daunting, though it gets easier after that. Air conditioning is only in the downstairs bedroom, but the other rooms stay cooler. The house is well equipped, while the Wi-Fi is only so-so in some parts. A lovely place to get a feel for Tuscany. We stayed June 22-29, 2024.

The garden view toward Monte a Pescia is gorgeous and so peaceful. We enjoyed the little pool, which suited the kids and us adults, and the Jacuzzi was lovely for watching the sunrise or waiting for the moon and stars. There’s also a great outdoor oven and barbecue for pizza or grilled meat. The villa is huge, with roomy bedrooms, five bathrooms, a fully equipped large kitchen, living room, study and family room. It felt like staying at grandparents’ place in the hills. We were there for two weeks just after Ferragosto. Sabrina and Therese, the house guardians, were fantastic: they responded quickly to requests and sorted out any problems. Highly recommended, and I hope to come back.
