The pool hours were a letdown: it’s only open from 10:00 to 18:00, so we couldn’t really enjoy it. Extending those hours would help. The rooms are very spacious, though the utilities feel outdated. Having parking inside is handy, but after midnight you have to ring for the gate to be opened. The hotel entrance works the same way. We arrived at around 2:00 in the morning on two nights, which wasn’t pleasant for the receptionist. Card access could save them the trouble. Apart from that, nothing else to complain about.

The hotel is a handy base, with the train station just a 10-minute walk away. Florence is an hour by train and Pisa about an hour and twenty-five minutes. I also loved the historic building, dating from the 1700s, which gives the rooms an elegant feel and a real sense of Italian history. The staff are incredibly friendly, quick to sort out any problems, and always willing to help. It works well for leisure or business trips, with good conference facilities, and the traditional Tuscan food is not to be missed. The hotel staff speak Chinese，You can contact them through WeChat！

The grounds make quite a grand first impression, and the staff were perfectly accommodating. Inside, the decor is ageing, and the place feels a little past its glory days, but I thought that added to its charm. My room was clean and perfectly fine, breakfast had enough choice, and the small pool was a nice spot to relax. It never got too busy while I was there. There was plenty of free parking during my stay. All in all, a pleasant experience, and a solid three stars.

The garden is lovely, with plenty of greenery, and the staff were very friendly. The rooms are on the older side but clean and tidy, and breakfast was very good.

The staff took really good care of us and made sure we felt comfortable, offering us a drink and water. Our room was a good size and clean, and the pool was a nice, comfortable size too. A really lovely place to stay.
