The location is peaceful, with plenty of parking out front, close to the old town and mountains. This family hotel is thoughtfully fitted out with old furniture, paintings throughout, and a useful spa in the basement. My room was inviting, spacious enough, and had a large bathroom with a cleverly designed shower you could sit in. I found all the amenities I needed. Breakfast came in a pleasant shared room with rustic furniture and a wooden ceiling. There was a good choice of tea, coffee, jam, butter, and sweets to start the day. The owner is chatty and knows the town and surrounding area well, so just ask where to go or where to eat and drink. The hotel also serves good local food and wine.

The location was easy to reach, with parking, and just a short walk from the city center. Mr. Roberto was very kind and accommodating from the start, even though we arrived late on Friday evening with our small, 48-kg dog. The hospitality and attention to detail throughout the property, including the bedroom, stood out. We stayed on a B&B basis last weekend. Breakfast was sweet only, but a real treat, with lots of homemade desserts. A more than positive experience.

Dinner in the charming garden was excellent. The quiet property is only steps from the lovely village, and each room has its own decor with valuable antiques. There are fine paintings too. The owner pays close attention to guests and makes you feel at home and pampered. A must-try.
