The house itself is fantastic, stylish and furnished with real care. It has everything we needed, from WiFi and a pool to a generously equipped kitchen. The five bedrooms all have 160 cm double beds; four have en-suite showers, and the fifth, with its own bathroom, is in a separate building. There's a big ground-floor gathering room with seating for 15-20 and a fireplace. The kitchen has a five-burner gas stove, a large fridge with freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, plenty of dishes, and various small appliances. Outside, olive trees line the garden. There's a barbecue, garden furniture for ten, several little seating spots, a hammock, and a small playhouse. The pool is about 10 x 5 meters, with a shallow section, around 1.5 meters deep, and surrounded by paving, umbrellas, and loungers. A gate in the fence helps keep younger guests safe. Gregorio is energetic, always around with tips, and speaks very good German. Getting there takes a bit of care: the road narrows, then turns into a bumpy track mostly used by tractors. After roughly 500 meters, the beautifully renovated farmhouse comes into view on the right, and you feel you're nearly there. The nearby farms start early, and the sheets and towels aren't changed during the stay. Those are about the only downsides, and small ones for us. We'll definitely be back!
