The views are stunning, and the place was clean throughout. The staff were really friendly, the rooms comfortable and very roomy, and it’s good value for money. The guesthouse itself was decent, with a great location and an easy trip there. Breakfast was very basic, and so was the shower. There wasn’t any shower soap either.
It was closed, which was a shame. Nearby, I came across about 30 immigrant children who seemed to have been left to fend for themselves. The whole building was full of people like us, trying to get by rather than running it as a restaurant. They were put in there like animals, cut off from the rest of the world. It would be good if someone could help. Merry Christmas to everyone, I guess?
A lovely spot for a day out, and the food was delicious. We did have to wait quite a while, though.
The whole building smelled of onion afterward.
They made us feel very welcome.
