They waited for us after we needed a last-minute room and then got delayed by a highway closure. We enjoyed a beer before getting a good night's sleep. The place is quiet, nicely decorated, and in a lovely area where I hope to spend a few days next time. The people were lovely too. The bathroom is tiny, but it did the job.

The inner courtyard is a lovely spot to relax, especially in spring and summer. We were cycling and found the place very easy to reach. The two owners were kind and helpful, and happily handled the several things we asked for. The pub downstairs is run by the same people, so cyclists like us can get there without even leaving the building.

We still had a nice stay, and the hosts were very kind and helpful. The rooms are cute and the place is very peaceful, but the bed we slept in was quite hard. Maybe a topper would make it a bit more comfortable. The shower sometimes had such low water pressure that it felt like we were barely showering. The food was excellent, though we thought the bill was a little too high. Since there wasn't a menu showing prices, it was hard to know what we'd be spending.

The rooms have a farmhouse feel but are comfortable and well equipped, and the surrounding area is worth exploring. I knew this place already, and although it has new management, it still feels friendly and pleasant. There's now an Irish pub too, with lots of different beers and whiskeys.
