The panoramic view from the viewpoint was beautiful, and we also got to stop at the farm to see the pigs, goats, and cows. Before setting off, we met the horses, brushed and petted them, then learned how to hold the reins and give commands. We rode a few laps near the stables before heading out. Each of us had a guide, so the ride felt safe and well managed. I wasn’t staying at the accommodation, just visiting for a ride recommended by my hotel. The family running the place were kind and welcoming. Such a lovely afternoon, thanks for the hospitality.

Waking up to freshly milked milk in a jug on the windowsill was hard to beat. It’s a peaceful, working farm with riding stables, and a great base for seeing the area. Highly recommended.

The owners’ warmth and willingness to help really stand out. For an overnight stay nearby, it’s very good value. I’d definitely come back if I get the chance.

We spent a night here while walking the Via Francigena. The place felt bare and poorly maintained outside, with tubs and tools left around, and the shower was broken. Breakfast was disappointing too. For dinner we were seated in a room with peeling walls and dirty windows, next to a green area that also looked neglected. The price was exorbitant. The one good thing was the courtesy. I can’t recommend it.
