I went back a few years after my first visit, and the place had changed completely. Eight years ago, it was beautiful, and the couple running it were kind and professional. What a letdown to find such arrogant manners and so little sense of how to treat clients.

Giovanna and the rest of the family made us feel so welcome. Le Carolee is a real hidden gem in Calabria, with lovely clean rooms, beautiful terrace views, and fantastic food. Easily the best place to stay in the area.

We ended up extending our stay because we loved it so much. Le Carolee is peaceful and beautiful, and a great base for discovering Calabria. Giovanna and all the staff were so kind and helpful with exploring the region. The food was delightful, and the rooms were clean and really nice. We'd happily recommend it.

The local Calabrian food was fantastic, especially with olive and pork products sourced directly on the farm. Their homemade limoncello was amazing, too. The owners were lovely, welcoming and attentive without ever intruding. We had a terrific holiday, and our comfortable room looked out over the property. I couldn't recommend staying here more.

The staff were the best part for us. They made us feel right at home. The view was amazing, the pool was perfect, and the food was excellent. Special thanks to Giovanna :))
