B&B L'angolo di Plutia

Breakfast here is more than just the packaged biscuits, cereal, fruit, yogurt, milk, tea, juice, and coffee capsules. We found homemade croissants on the set table each morning, filled with the flavors we’d chosen the day before. The pistachio and chocolate cream ones were delicious, and there were excellent plum cakes too, not mass-produced. The host was warm and kind, and gave us lots of useful tips. The renovated townhouse is clean and well kept. Breakfast is served in the shared ground-floor area, where the entrance and first room, Bikini, are also located. Ask for Bikini if stairs are difficult, since the other rooms are upstairs on the first and second floors. The wooden staircase is a little steep, though compliant. We had the spacious second-floor room, with a minibar, AC, ceiling fan, and lovely balcony. Its bathroom is outside the room on the balcony, but it's exclusively for that room, with no other rooms opening onto the balcony, and has everything you need, including a hairdryer. We definitely recommend it and hope to return soon!

There’s a map of local sights on the desk, which was very useful. My girlfriend and I stayed a couple of nights in the first-floor room, “Bikini,” named after one of the Mosaic rooms. Gianmarco was available from our first contact through the whole stay and ready to help with anything. The place is lovely, very clean, and tidy. The AC and TV worked, and the spacious bathroom had shampoo, shower gel, and towels. I skipped breakfast, but food and coffee were available and refilled every morning. There’s parking in front of the house, and the neighborhood is quiet at night. It’s a recent addition, but I highly recommend it.

We stayed just one night, had a really good time, and already want to make this our regular place to stay in Piazza Armerina.

The room was bright, clean, and had every comfort, and breakfast came with plenty of variety. Alessandra and Gianmarco were very kind and helpful. It’s in a great spot, close to both the historic center and Villa Romana del Casale. Highly recommended.
