La casa Rosa sits on a beautiful hill overlooking the duermo of Piazza Armerina, though you’ll need a car to get into town. Luciano helped us find good parking spots there. Our family of three used two double rooms for one night before visiting the nearby Villa romana del casale. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had gorgeous views across the mountains and town. Luciano welcomed us warmly and helped point out local landmarks and good restaurants. Breakfast was delicious, with fresh bread, croissants, and eggs, and Tiziana made sure we had everything we needed. It was a comfortable, relaxing stay, with guests from around Europe. We’d highly recommend it if you’re visiting the town or nearby mosaics.

That view from the terrace, with the cathedral above the city, was hard to forget. We stayed five days at La Casa Rossa, right in the middle of Piazza Armerina, and parking was easy with plenty of space. Breakfast each morning had fresh bread, cheese, and lots to choose from. Our room was spacious, the bed was really comfortable, and the bathrooms and other facilities were spotless. Luciano and Tiziana made us feel at home from the start, always ready to answer questions or help with anything. My wife is pregnant, and we felt especially lucky to have found such a welcoming place. I’ve already promised we’ll come back next year. A lovely stay.

Everything was spotless, and breakfast was both generous and really good. The owners were so kind, and the woman who made breakfast was friendly, professional, and happy to help. We’ll definitely come back. Thank you!

The room was dirty, with old, uncomfortable furniture, and the bathroom had a worn shower tray and freezing water. There are no amenities, and parking is very limited. The hotel does look out over the city. Breakfast was just passable. There’s a lot that needs improving.
